When Babies get sick, it’s the worst. It hits the little ones hard, and all you want to do is make them comfortable and better. Since my son has been in daycare, it seems like he has been sick for two months straight. Also my poor baby is teething. He has been teething since he was 3 months old. He now has 5 teeth! The nights have been rough with him being sick on and off and with teething. In this post I will recommend Sick and Teething essentials that have gotten me and the baby through it all.
I’ll start off with my sick essentials:
FridaBaby Basics Kit- 39.99
My Son’s Doctor recommended getting the Nose Frida because my Papas was just so stuffed up. Its awkward and a little gross to use. Your child may fuss or cry when you use it because it is uncomfortable for them, but I tell you what it works wonders. After I use it on him he is able to breathe right away. When I went to Target to purchas the Nose Frida it was sold out but they had the basics kit. The basics kit come with the nose frida, gas frida, snipper kit, and derma frida. Which is pretty nice.
FridaBaby Breathe Frida Bath Bombs- 7.99
Before I bought the FridaBaby Basics Kit, I bought the Breathe Frida Bath Bombs. These are like little miracles. When he would be super fussy and stuffy, i would run his bath and put a bath bomb in and it would release the vapors.
Zarabee’s Chest rub- 4.69
Babyganics cold relief chest rub- 6.99
Vapor chest rubs. No explanation needed. They work miracles. I use two. I have the Zarabee’s rub as the one I keep at home. The Babyganics rub I keep in his diaper bag for travel, it’s easy because it’s a stick and I don’t have to get my hands all goopy with the rub.
Boogie Wipes- 3.99
I love these things! They are saline wipes, and they are easy on his nose. I have a lot of them. I keep two travel packs in his diaper bag.
Little Remedies Saline Drops- 3.77
I use the saline drops when he is super stuffy or he has hard rocks in his nose. It breaks things up. Works great with the Nose Frida.
Tylenol and Motrin need I say more. Bringing down fevers and helping with aches and pains.
Now, lets get into the Teething essentials.
Teething Egg Molar Magician- 15.99
I bought Papas the Teething Egg and the Molar Magician for Christmas. He liked the egg for a bit, but he had trouble holding it. I gave him the Molar Magician last week, and he goes crazy on it! It’s easy for him to hold and it has the 4 prongs sticking out the he likes to chew on.
Munchkin Ice Gel Teether 2 pk- 4.19
I bought this for Papas last week. His top tooth is coming out and causing him a lot of pain. He loves it so much. The cold soothes his gums.
Itzy Ritzy Cactus Teether- 8.79
Itzy Ritzy Cactus Teething Glove- 8.99
The Cactus Teether was the first Teether I bought for him and it is still his favorite. It’s smooth on one side and has ridges on the other. I bought the teething glove because as soon he his cut the gum, he started chewing up his hand. He didn’t like the glove on his hand, but he loves to play with it.
Nuby Teething Gel- 5.49
This is a little miracle in a tube. Papas is still young for Baby oralgel. This Nuby gel is all natural and made with cloves, numbs him right up.
Teething Paci 3.00 2pk bought at Babies r Us closing sale
This paci is awesome when we’re out and about. I give it to him and he chews on it like crazy!
Tylenol and Motri- Again self explanatory.
That’s my essentials. Comment below and let me know what your essentials are!
